Drought burnt land inspired this abstract landscape painting: distinctive orange-red references furnace hot days, sun-died vegetation, not a drop of rain for many long years.  The seemingly barren landscape still supports specialised desert plants surviving on stored reserves of water and condensed moisture from overnight chills.
